Negligence from Care Home – Case Study

Care Home Case Study 1

14 Dec Negligence from Care Home – Case Study

Our client’s elderly mother was in a Merseyside Care Home and over a period of time, the client’s son and external healthcare advisors became concerned at her deteriorating physical condition.

The client’s mother was admitted to hospital where she was diagnosed with a number of conditions caused by a lack of care over a lengthy period to include bedsores, ulcers and a number of other chronic conditions.

The mother was transferred from hospital into the care of a new nursing home where she continues to live with dedicated care assistants actively assisting and monitoring her condition to an expected high level of professionalism.

Our client pursued a claim against the care home for the negligent management and care of his mother resulting in agreed damages of £25,000.00.
